About the Role
As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for collecting,
assessing, delivering and supporting the repair and replacement of KARL STORZ
instruments and equipment at customer sites across your designated region.
Working closely with customers, Sales and Service teams, you will help ensure
equipment is returned to service quickly while delivering an excellent customer
experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collect and deliver instruments and equipment within your region
• Carry out basic fault assessment and troubleshooting at customer sites,
identifying issues that require escalation
• Maintain accurate documentation and CRM records
• Support repair quotations, enquiries and follow up activities to drive timely
customer decisions
• Promote KARL STORZ service solutions and support service contract
opportunities
• Build strong relationships with hospital, clinical and decontamination teams
• Work closely with Sales colleagues to support service revenue opportunities
within the territory
About You
We are looking for a customer focused and organised individual who enjoys
working independently, solving problems and building strong relationships with
customers.
Essential:
• Full UK driving licence
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
• Good IT skills, including Outlook, Excel and CRM systems
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Desirable:
• Field service or technical support experience
• Healthcare, medical device or hospital experience
• CSSD experience
• Experience working in a regulated environment
• Experience using service management or CRM systems
• Experience supporting quotations, service contracts or customer account
growth
A positive attitude, willingness to learn and ability to deliver a professional
customer experience are key to success in this role.
