Join our Wholesale Lending Services Middle Office (WLS MO) who is part of WLS
and provides global end-to-end loan origination, servicing, restructuring, and
trading support. Services are tailored to the needs of the client and lines of
business, ranging from bilateral to large, syndicated loan agreements. Services
provided include Loan Origination, Deal Closing and Funding, Documentation
Review, Core Loan Servicing, Loan Closing and Trade Settlement.
As an Execution Coordinator Associate within the EMEA WLS Originations team, you
will support Transaction Coordinators in the execution of complex syndicated and
bilateral loans for the Commercial & Investment Bank (CIB) and Trade Finance
Lines of Business. You will work closely with the origination businesses,
helping to ensure all necessary information is reviewed for operational
feasibility and optimal execution, and partnering with internal and external
stakeholders including (but not limited to) Deal Teams, Credit Risk, Legal, KYC,
Loan and Agency Services, and Lenders. You will also interact with counterparts
internationally on cross-border transactions originating out of EMEA. We operate
in a control-focused environment, helping to ensure new loan agreements and
amendments are operationally viable, aligned to JPM's preferred language,
recorded accurately in our systems, and that any exceptions are appropriately
captured and escalated.
Job responsibilities
• Support the Origination Pipeline system by helping to ensure real-time
recording of transaction details through the origination lifecycle, with
strong data quality across all datapoints and effective pipeline management.
• Extract critical deal information from credit agreements and record it in the
Firm’s systems of record.
• Liaise with Transaction Coordinators to help ensure Borrower KYC completion
ahead of signing/funding.
• Maintain accurate process and procedure documentation in a timely manner,
including periodic review and upload of documents.
• Monitor the group mailbox by assigning deals and queries, and resolving or
redirecting queries as needed in line with agreed processes.
• Partner across Operations and wider WLS teams globally to help resolve
issues, identify alignment opportunities, and contribute ideas to enhance
existing processes, as appropriate.
• Build and maintain effective working relationships across WLS teams.
• Participate/lead projects and working groups across the Firm to support
process efficiency and control enhancement, contributing as a developing
subject matter resource.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
• Experience in loan operations, lending, agency/loan servicing, or transaction
support; interest in origination and syndicated loans.
• Comfortable reading legal loan documentation (e.g., Credit Agreements) to
locate key operational and deal terms, with guidance/training.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint (able to work with formulas, format
tables, and build clear trackers/presentations).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow defined processes in a
control-focused environment.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines, escalate issues
appropriately, and work well as part of a team.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills and willingness to collaborate
with stakeholders across the business.
