Job Title: Artist (Middleweight) Location: Remote • UK and Europe  Reports to: Head of Art/ Lead Artist Role: 6 months FTC but with the potential to go permanent  Fusebox is dedicated to producing high-quality mobile games that engage and entertain players. About the Role The role of 2D Middleweight Artist is to produce high quality art assets in-keeping with the Fusebox brand. Working alongside the Lead Artist to take concepts and ideas to final game ready assets. Expected to constantly develop artistic knowledge and demonstrate artistic growth. Support junior team members knowledge sharing, training, and mentorship. Responsibilities • Produce high-quality character and background art. • Ensure consistency across all art assets. • Collaborate effectively as a member of the art team. • Actively incorporate constructive feedback into your work. • Develop conceptual art for new characters and environments. • Execute concepts and briefs from initial idea through to final, ready-to-release artwork.   Qualifications • Art related degree or experience in games.   Required Skills • Excellent digital painting skills and anatomy knowledge. • Proficient in Adobe suite, character design, environment design, game assets. • Proven ability to create game-ready art assets that meet the development team’s specifications.   Preferred Skills • Strong Artistry & Growth Mindset: Possesses a genuine passion for art creation and actively seeks opportunities for growth. Eagerly takes on art training to constantly improve skills and efficiency. • Teamwork & Communication: Enjoys collaborative work within a highly skilled art team. Demonstrates excellent communication skills and a proactive, constructive approach to feedback.
