We value the rich diversity that comes from blending local perspective with our global network.    Analyst • Equity Advisory Team – London Lazard is seeking to recruit an Analyst to join the Equity Advisory Team in London. This position will play a central role on transactions and client interactions, as well as contribute to the team’s collegiate culture, reporting into senior bankers. As the leading independent IPO advisory team in EMEA, Lazard has advised on landmark deals over the last decade, with a strong pipeline for the upcoming years. The team is also involved in capital raisings, secondary selldowns and supporting the broader capital solutions and M&A teams on a range of transactions. We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, and outgoing individual with a clear interest in equity capital markets to join our team in London. We’ll trust you to: • Demonstrate strong technical and analytical skills.  • Research, analyse and evaluate qualitative and quantitative data; financial and statistical analysis/modelling. • Conduct company and industry analysis on new transaction opportunities. • Assist with the execution of transactions in an efficient manner. • Be responsible for assisting in the preparation and production of presentations and marketing materials for clients and prospective clients in consultation with senior team members. • Identify issues arising in transactions and assist in conducting due diligence. • Develop sound and logical commercial views, focusing on both big picture and minutiae. • Effectively manage your own work; take responsibility for accuracy, quality, consistency, and grammar. • Assist senior bankers on an ad hoc basis as needed with various reports and analyses. • Contribute to firm wide initiatives including recruiting, training, professional development, and other activities.   You’ll need to have: • Previous employment as a financial analyst at a reputable financial services firm such as an investment bank, or other similar financial services provider. • Genuine interest in Equity Capital Markets.  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint • Demonstrable execution support abilities and experience. • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills to support extensive analysis. • Strong written and communication skills. • Self-motivation and resilience with demonstrated ability to manage conflicting priorities and requests. • The ability to take initiative and function independently, balanced with strong team skills. • Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills with the ability to maintain relationships with colleagues and clients at all levels. • Awareness of the regulatory environment we work in. • High standards of professional and ethical conduct, adhering to legal and regulatory requirements of the banking environment. • Minimum 2.1 university degree classification (or equivalent if studied outside the UK) is required.
