The role is site‑based and requires strong technical capability, disciplined record‑keeping and close coordination with operations, safety, quality, commercial and procurement teams, within an NEC4 Alliance environment. You will take ownership of your assigned scope, ensuring full compliance with safety, quality, programme and commercial requirements. What You'll Be Doing Technical Delivery & Site Operations: Coordinate labour, plant and materials; ensure works are delivered in line with drawings, specifications, ITPs, RAMS and permits; and maintain accurate site and technical records. Safety & Site Briefings: Lead daily briefings and toolbox talks, conduct Level 1 incident investigations, ensure permit compliance and promote safe systems of work at all times. Quality & Assurance: Prepare and implement ITPs, coordinate testing and witness points, manage NCRs, maintain red‑line/as‑built drawings and compile QA handover documentation. Programme, Productivity & Planning: Maintain 2-6 week look‑ahead programmes, track progress and productivity against targets, manage float and sequencing, identify constraints and support delay analysis and recovery actions. Commercial, Procurement & Contractual: Support procurement activities including specifications, orders and subcontract administration; raise and track Early Warnings and NCEs; provide inputs to CEs and cost control; and apply NEC4 Alliance procedures, including risk‑reduction and change control processes. Leadership & Collaboration: Supervise small teams and apprentices, provide constructive feedback, support basic people management conversations, and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary support teams. The role requires flexibility to support site delivery and may involve occasional weekend or night working as part of a managed rotation system.
