Burch Recruitment is proud to be partnering with a valued client to recruit a Warehouse Supervisor, working on an afternoon/evening shift who will help drive efficiency and support operations at their Slough site. Our client is a leader in logistics, committed to delivering seamless, reliable service every day. As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing daily warehouse activities, ensuring efficient storage and distribution, and maintaining a safe and organised work environment. This will be a pm shift role and you will lead a team of warehouse staff to meet operational goals and enhance overall efficiency. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods. Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate stock control. Lead and motivate a team of warehouse staff, providing training and performance management. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies Optimise warehouse layout and workflow to maximise productivity. Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment. Conduct regular audits and implement improvements to enhance efficiency. Maintain records and generate reports on warehouse performance. Required skills and experience. Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar role. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities. Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software. Understanding of health and safety regulations. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Forklift certification (preferred but not essential). Why Join Us?
