Section Leader - Distribution Permanent Full Time

As a Section Leader you will be passionate about leading people, driving performance, and continuously improving operations. You will actively identify opportunities to enhance productivity, streamline processes, and improve ways of working. From small daily improvements to larger operational changes, you will take ownership of ideas and see them through to delivery, contributing to the overall success of the department.   Your Responsibilities: Leading, coaching, and developing warehouse colleagues Managing team performance, training, and wellbeing Supporting reporting, performance tracking, and data analysis Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety standards   Your Accountabilities  Allocating work effectively to meet service levels and KPIs Resolving operational issues and driving sustainable solutions   To Be Successful You Will Need Strong people leadership skills and enjoy developing others To be confident communicators across team briefings, written updates, and reporting Experience in managing teams and operational performance Highly proactive attitude, with a natural drive to improve processes and outcomes A strong understanding of continuous improvement principles and can apply them in a practical environment Ownership of challenges and see solutions through from start to finish To be comfortable working with systems such as Excel, databases, and email To show resilience, adaptability, and a growth mindset Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or SAP Lean methodologies, project work, or process improvement initiatives Knowledge of Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Experience improving efficiency, engagement, or cost performance   Benefits & Location   Permanent Role at Brighouse Distribution Centre Rotating shifts, typically Monday to Friday 26 days holiday plus bank holidays Pension scheme Free onsite parking Annual care day and volunteer days A range of cultural and lifestyle benefits supporting work-life balance
