Your Opportunity
This is a multi-disciplinary, entry-level water resources engineering position
that requires strong knowledge of civil engineering practices and principals
along with understanding and appreciation of biological and ecological science.
Candidates must have a BS or MS degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
Applicants for this position must have strong writing and communication skills
and should be familiar with relevant civil engineering software.
Your
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities of this position include desktop and field studies in support
of a broad spectrum of water resource engineering projects. Typical water
resource engineering projects would include those with a focus on assessment and
design for aquatic habitat restoration such as dam removal, culvert replacement,
and stream restoration and enhancement. Typical position support roles would
include writing and documentation, hydrologic/hydraulic modeling, and
preparation of engineering design materials. This position provides substantial
opportunities for collaboration with scientific disciplines as part of Stantec’s
holistic Environment Services program.

Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are
provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final
agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications,
experience, and
work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus
eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the
agreed number of working hours per week.
Benefits Summary: Regular full-time and part-time employees (working at least 20
