Reinstatement Operative

United Utilities operates across a number of contracts across our business, predominantly wastewater network services as part of the AMP 7 period plan. The Team support reactive and planned maintenance across the CCTV & Jetting and Civils teams, further supported by our in house Traffic Management Division and Capital Projects covering the entire UU network. Purpose of the role: We are seeking a highly motivated reinstatements operative to join our established reinstatements team, based in Preston/Stockport. You will be working on site, as part of a team working on a variety of wastewater contracts across the North West. Key Responsibilities: Experience within tarmac reinstatements, modular and rigid surfaces work would be an advantage. We are looking for individual who take pride in their work to get it right first time and be the the highest standard of quality. We are looking for someone that is skilled in laying Flags, Kerbstones, Block paving, concreting etc but if any applicants are skilled in both fields (Blacktop and White top) then this would be an added bonus. You will provide technical expertise, experience, and work within a team to deliver a first-class service to our customers. Possession of good communication skills and having an enthusiastic approach to people is a must. Key Requirements: Skills & Experience Full UK driving licence, HGV class 2 (desirable) Civils wastewater experience desirable, but not essential. NRSWA Street works qualification - desirable but not essential Reinstatement skills. Knowledge of utility excavations. Ability to work under pressure.
