Corporate PR Manager, UK

Apple's worldwide communications team informs the world about our innovative products and services, and the values that drive everything we do. The team includes professionals with backgrounds in public relations, journalism, social media and writing. We are currently seeking a London-based PR Manager for our Corporate Communications team. The successful candidate will lead Apple’s UK corporate communications, focussing primarily on policy and legal matters and based in London. DESCRIPTION The role requires a strong understanding of the policy environment and media landscape, the ability to translate complex issues into clear messaging, and experience working in a fast paced environment. The successful candidate will join a nimble team helping Apple navigate communication on a range of policy and legal matters, collaborate with the wider PR team as well as GA and Legal colleagues. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 8+ years experience in policy communications, consultancy, media or corporate settings Experience working in a UK role handling communications or media relations Strong understanding of the UK policy environment, preferably tech policy PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS An established network of UK media contacts Excellent written and verbal communications skills Experience working on high-profile or sensitive issues in a regulatory environment Creative and critical thinking abilities Motivated, independent worker. Positive team-player attitude The ability to work with ambiguity and on complex topics, skilled in multi-tasking, delivering under tight timelines, and adapting quickly to change Aptitude for building formal and informal relationship networks inside and outside the organization Understanding internal and external stakeholder requirements, expectations, and needs
