Job Description Afterschool Wraparound • Childcare Activity Leader Location: Blackthorns Primary School, Lindfield, Haywards Heath Hours: Monday • Thursday from 2.45pm - 6.30pm, Pay: National Minumum Wage up to £12.71 per hour Contract: Term Time, 39 weeks per year with the option to work overtime in our holiday camps. Join our team as a Childcare Activity Leader and turn ordinary mornings and afternoons into unforgettable adventures! At Junior Adventures Group, we’re not just childcare, we’re champions of fun! From football to face painting, scavenger hunts to snack time, you'll bring smiles, laughter, and energy to our Breakfast & After School Clubs for children aged 4– 11. What you'll do day-to-day: Deliver exciting, age-appropriate activities like multi-sports, arts & crafts, group games, and creative play. Set up engaging play spaces and keep things safe, clean, and awesome. Supervise children with care and enthusiasm, ensuring every child feels welcome, safe, and included. Prepare snacks and manage sign-in/out processes with a friendly face and attention to detail. Be a team player who can also take the lead when needed.
