As a Senior Principal Cybersecurity Architect at JPMorganChase within
Cybersecurity & Tech Controls, you provide deep cybersecurity expertise and work
across teams to identify, create, and communicate risk, mitigation options, and
solutions. Leverage your deep cross-domain expertise to bring together talent
that will consistently create solutions, processes, and reusable
proof-of-concept models for cybersecurity while remaining at the forefront of
best practices for cybersecurity policy and technological advances.
You will be aligned to the Commercial & Investment Bank (CIB) Securities
Services organization, a $5.6bn revenue business, with $41.2tn in assets under
custody. You will serve as the lead cybersecurity architect facing off to
Securities Services technology stakeholders to help them manage their Cyber Risk
exposure, helping technologists design, develop and deliver software
securely. You'll lead a team of 4 across London, India and Singapore,
interfacing with colleagues and stakeholders across the globe.
Job responsibilities
• Advises and leads on cybersecurity strategy and development of multiple
products, applications, and technologies across a portfolio
• Leads reuse-first adoption of enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within
the work environment to accelerate cybersecurity architecture analysis,
portfolio-level option evaluation, and delivery of strategic solutions, with
human-in-the-loop validation and appropriate handling of sensitive data.
• Translates highly complex technical issues, trends, and approaches to
leadership to drive the firm’s innovation and enable leaders to make
strategic, well-informed decisions about target state architecture
• Drives adoption and implementation of new technical methods in cybersecurity
in line with the latest product development methodologies, creating durable
reusable cybersecurity frameworks that improve velocity and quality of output
across teams and functions
• Develops architectures with applicability across businesses/functions
• Establishes portfolio-level guardrails for AI-assisted workflows used in
cybersecurity architecture and governance, ensuring traceability/auditability
and alignment to security and resiliency expectations.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
• Formal training or certification on cybersecurity architecture concepts and
advanced applied experience
• Practical experience delivering cybersecurity architecture with applicability
and reusability across business/functions and systems
• Demonstrated experience leading safe adoption of enterprise-authorized AI
capabilities within the work environment across cybersecurity architecture
workflows, including validation practices and awareness of data sensitivity.
• Ability to assess and validate AI-assisted security recommendations and
AI-enabled architecture patterns before adoption, escalating uncertainty and
ensuring outcomes align to security, resiliency, and auditability
expectations.
• Demonstrated prior experience influencing across functions and teams to
deliver modern cybersecurity architecture
• Experience applying expertise and new methods to determine solutions for new
and complex cybersecurity problems across various disciplines
• Extensive practical cloud native experience
• Ability to evaluate current and emerging technologies to recommend the best
technology solutions or approach to achieve the future state cybersecurity
architecture
• Experience leading a product as a product owner or product manager
