leading fast-track service that delivers Argos products to customers' doors and

What You'll Be Doing
• Lead and develop a team within a compact site that sits within a larger
shared logistics facility, driving excellent customer and operational
performance.
• Implement and embed continuous improvement initiatives to enhance site and
centrally driven fulfilment processes.
• Accountable for overseeing delivery resources and fleet operations to ensure
safe and efficient service.
• Respond to customer demand and trading volume changes by flexing operational
resources to achieve service targets.
• Ensure compliance with legal and safety frameworks while being accountable
for recruitment and headcount planning.
What makes a great Shift Manager?
• Experience managing a Fast Track Delivery (FTD) operation, ensuring excellent
customer service, safe and legal compliance, and delivery performance against
KPIs.
• Leadership experience managing teams within a retail e-commerce operation.
• Experienced in delivering operational and customer KPIs, balancing service,
productivity and cost performance to achieve an optimum cost to serve.
• Possesses management skills that engage and motivate colleagues at all levels
• Capable of responding to customer demands and fluctuations at pace, ensuring
the efficient delivery of a first-class service
