We give you a world of potential
Our Dividends team is expanding, creating an exciting opportunity for a
Dividends Events Specialist to join a supportive and collaborative environment.
Working with some of the UK's leading listed companies, you'll help deliver
dividend payments accurately and on time. With multiple events running
simultaneously and each client working to different timelines, this is a varied
role where organisation, attention to detail, and stakeholder collaboration are
key.
A role you will love
As a Dividends Events Specialist, you'll be managing multiple dividend events at
different stages of the payment cycle, ensuring key dates are tracked, deadlines
are met, and payments are delivered accurately. You'll work closely with
colleagues across Client Services, Operations, and other business areas,
building strong relationships and playing an important role in delivering
excellent outcomes for clients and shareholders.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing end-to-end dividend events for a portfolio of clients
* Monitoring and maintaining key event dates to ensure deadlines are met
* Performing reconciliations and validating data to support payment accuracy
* Coordinating the movement of funds and associated payment activities
* Maintaining accurate records using internal systems and Excel spreadsheets
* Managing risk and applying appropriate controls throughout the dividend
lifecycle
* Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to resolve queries and
support successful event delivery
* Working collaboratively across the business while continuously developing
specialist dividends knowledge
Working as part of a knowledgeable and supportive team, you'll contribute to the
successful delivery of dividend events and help ensure shareholders receive
their payments accurately and on time.
As dividend activity fluctuates throughout the year, there are opportunities for
paid overtime during peak payment periods, providing additional earning
potential and valuable experience.
What will you bring to the role?
We're looking for someone who is organised, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
Previous dividends experience isn't essential, as full training will be
provided, but you'll be comfortable working with data, systems, and deadlines in
a fast-paced environment.
You'll be successful in this role if you have:
* Strong organisation skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
* Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
* Good Excel and spreadsheet skills
* Confidence working with data and financial information
* A proactive approach to learning new systems and processes
* Strong communication skills and a collaborative team mindset
Desirable experience:
* Experience within financial services, administration, operations, or a
customer-focused environment
* Exposure to dividends, corporate actions, payments, or reconciliations
* Experience using EquatePlus or similar administration systems
If you're looking for a role where you can take ownership, learn new skills, and
be part of a supportive and growing team, we'd love to hear from you.
