THE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES Job title: London Retail and Activation Summer Intern Reports to: Trade Activation team Key internal relationships: Off Trade team (Account Manager, Field Sales Exec), Trade Activation team, Retail Operations team Key external relationships: Retail store managers, store colleagues, bar managers, bar staff, JUBEL customers Key responsibilities • Retail 1. Feature & fixture - shoppers have a massive amount of choice, and most often they just want a cold can. Landing incremental shelf space & increased visibility is key for getting JUBEL in the basket. You’ll unlock in-store opportunities & additional space by building great relationships with store managers. 2. Always available - if we’re not on shelf then we can’t be bought, it’s as simple as that. You’ll leverage your understanding of the category, retail systems & customer demand to make sure stores have plenty of stock and always have JUBEL available. 3. Activations - you’ll take retail activations from idea to fruition across your patch of stores. Focused on getting liquid on lips and building brand & customer awareness to get the rate of sale in your stores absolutely pumping. Key responsibilities • On Trade Activation 1. Sampling - our beer is delicious and when people try JUBEL they buy JUBEL, so sampling is our biggest growth driver. A key focus of the role will be delivering high energy sampling sessions in our key accounts to build brand awareness and recruit as many new consumers as possible. 2. Staff engagement - you’ll engage bar teams by building strong personal relationships, educating them on our beer, the aim of the game is to make sure we’re the best beer brand to work with. 3. Activations - you’ll support the trade activation team in executing highly impactful activations and events in London On Trade accounts to deliver memorable brand moments, get JUBEL in more hands, add value to our customers and engage our consumers. 4. On-trade consistency - you’ll ensure that the consumer experience of a pint of JUBEL is consistently brilliant across the on-trade; everything from the glass it’s served in, the way it’s described on menu, the use of branded assets and the quality of the dispense. This is not an exhaustive list of duties and is subject to review in agreement with the postholder.
