Product Marketing Lead • SquaredUp Cloud Remote (UK) · Reports to the CEO · Full-time The short version SquaredUp Cloud connects straight to the APIs of the tools teams already use - no pipelines, no data movement, no waiting. "Stop moving your data. Start seeing it." It's already winning over DevOps, ITOps, and MSP teams done with tool sprawl, and adoption is accelerating. We're past proving the product works, now it's about scale. We need someone who can turn genuine product-market fit into demand, sharper conversion, and a louder voice in our customer communities. The role This is a senior, hands-on individual contributor role - no team on day one, but as the function grows, our DevRel folks (currently sitting elsewhere in the business) may come to report into this role. It reports to the CEO, who's been covering product marketing in the interim and is handing it over so it gets proper focus. You'll work closely with: · Director of Growth Marketing - he owns the engines (website, ads, events, email, social); you'll own much of what flows through them · Product management - to understand what we're building and why it matters · DevRel - to show up authentically in the observability and data community · Sales - to arm them with material that actually helps them win · The CEO - on positioning and direction What you'll be doing · Growing demand for SquaredUp Cloud - turning what the product does into messaging, content, and campaigns that make DevOps, ITOps, and MSP audiences pay attention · Improving conversion through sales enablement - battlecards, positioning, competitive intel, and material that shortens the gap between "interesting" and "sold" · Raising SquaredUp's profile in our customer communities - not through corporate noise, but by saying genuinely useful, interesting things in public What matters most · A deep, real understanding of the product at the feature level, not just the topline pitch. No code required, but you need to get why SquaredUp Cloud works the way it does · The ability to see why customers need it and love it, and explain that in language a busy DevOps, ITOps, or MSP audience will actually read · Strong writing across formats blogs, web copy, social, email, presentations, - we need to trust you to write in our voice without a brief every time · An imaginative, authentic, non-corporate tone, interesting and a bit rough around the edges beats polished and forgettable · A natural collaborator, comfortable building trust across product, DevRel, sales, growth marketing, and the CEO · Genuine fluency with AI as a working tool, producing more good content, faster, without it sounding robotic. Show us how you actually use it · Proof you're a fast learner, evidence you can drop into something unfamiliar, get fluent fast, and produce sharp, credible work quickly, from any source All career backgrounds considered We're not filtering on job titles. No marketing or technical background required. We care far more about whether you can rapidly tune into a new product and market and turn that into work people respond to. If you've done that before, in any field, show us the evidence. Prior exposure to observability, monitoring, DevOps, MSP, or infrastructure/data tooling shortens the ramp-up, but it's a bonus, not a requirement. About SquaredUp We're a team of friendly, low-ego people who like making complicated things simple for our customers, and for each other. Three things matter to us: passion, integrity, and togetherness - we build as a community, not a hierarchy. We're remote-first, with optional hubs in Maidenhead (UK) and Boston (US) if you like the occasional desk and company lunch. No bureaucracy, no jargon, no pretending to be bigger than we are. We're not just building an incredible product we're building a company with purpose. A Great Place to Work, our culture is the heartbeat of everything we do. We've been recognised as such by our own employees and ranked a UK Best Place to Work in Tech. We're thrilled to have become a Certified B Corp, a huge milestone that reflects our commitment to doing business the right way. We believe in innovation with integrity, and we're passionate about making a positive impact on our people, our customers, and the planet. What's in it for you · Competitive salary · Private medical care · Generous holiday allowance · Company pension contributions · Learning & development budget · Home office setup allowance · Paid volunteering days · Remote-first working, with optional hub access in Maidenhead or Boston, plus in-person team gatherings through the year How to apply Send your CV or LinkedIn profile, with a short note on why this role and why SquaredUp Cloud specifically.
