Theatre Administrator (30 hours per week) | Private Hospital | Spire Little

Spire Little Aston Hospital is seeking a motivated Administrator to join our
Theatre team on a part time basis, working 30 hours per week. This role is
perfect for someone with strong organisational and administrative skills who
wants to work in a professional and collaborative environment, playing a key
role in supporting patient care behind the scenes.
Spire Little Aston Hospital is a leading private hospital in the Midlands,
offering comprehensive hospital care to patients from Birmingham and the
surrounding areas of the West Midlands and Staffordshire. The hospital has an
exceptional reputation within a variety of specialties including Orthopaedics,
Sports & Exercise Medicine, Cosmetics, Ophthalmic, Gynaecology, General Surgery
& Physiotherapy.

variety of apprenticeships including BSc Physiotherapy and MSc Advanced Clinical
Practice.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Coordinate daily theatre schedules, maintaining accurate operating lists and
effective diary management.
• Provide efficient administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the
theatre department.
• Act as the first point of contact, managing queries and directing them
appropriately.
• Deliver a high standard of customer service to patients, consultants and
colleagues.
• Support the Theatre Manager in ensuring the efficient day-to-day operation of
the theatre department.
• Maintain quality systems and support compliance with relevant regulatory and
healthcare standards, including CQC requirements.
• Manage and distribute information to internal and external stakeholders in a
timely and accurate manner.
Who We're Looking For
• Access to your own transport is essential due to limited public transport
links.
• Previous experience in an administrative support role.
• Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain a high level of
accuracy.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office and other administrative systems, with the
ability to learn new software quickly.
• Ability to work independently, prioritise workload and adapt to changing
priorities.
• Experience handling confidential information appropriately and
professionally.
• Previous healthcare administration experience would be advantageous but is
not essential.
