About the Role:
Start your neonatal nursing career with the Department of Neonatology, the only tertiary Level 5-6 neonatal service in the ACT and surrounding NSW. Caring for approximately 750-800 neonatal admissions each year, our service includes the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), Special Care Nursery (SCN), ACT NETS Retrieval Service, Newborn and Parent Support Service (NAPSS), and the Newborn Growth and Development Clinic.
As a participant in our 12-month Neonatal Foundation Program, you will receive comprehensive support through dedicated study days, supernumerary shifts, clinical rotations across NICU and SCN, and structured learning opportunities. Working within a family-integrated and developmentally focused environment, you will gain the knowledge, skills and confidence to care for premature and unwell newborns and their families while being supported by an experienced and passionate team.
