Product Management Practice BNY’s Product Management Practice plays a key role in delivering products, platforms and experiences that meet client needs, support business goals and drive innovation across the firm. The Product Management Internship Program offers driven students hands-on exposure to the practice through strategic projects aligned to product discovery, client-focused design, product development, delivery execution, and continuous improvement. In a collaborative, fast-paced environment, interns will gain insight into the product lifecycle, support analysis and documentation, and work across product, design, business, operations and technology teams to help bring thoughtful, effective solutions to market.   What you will do • Research user behavior, client needs, market trends, and competitor activity to inform product priorities and positioning. • Participate in discovery activities by gathering feedback from users, clients, and stakeholders and helping identify unmet needs and opportunities. • Support roadmap development by organizing requirements, synthesizing research and stakeholder feedback, and helping teams evaluate trade-offs. • Help evaluate early product concepts and prototypes by gathering feedback, documenting observations, and identifying opportunities for improvement. • Assist in documenting product requirements, user journeys, process flows, and other artifacts that help teams align on product direction. • Track product adoption, usage, and performance metrics to identify opportunities for growth and improvement. • Collaborate with product, design, engineering, and business teams to help move ideas from discovery through delivery and launch.   Skills you will build • Product thinking and strategic prioritization • Market, competitor, and user research • Requirements gathering and product documentation • Feedback synthesis and data-driven decision making • Cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management   Impact you will have at BNY • Help teams design products and experiences that better match what clients need now and next. • Contribute to product decisions grounded in evidence, feedback, and measurable outcomes. • Gain visibility into how innovation, strategy, and execution come together inside BNY. • Why this could be a fit for you This role resonates if you are curious, entrepreneurial, and energized by building solutions that combine business, technology, and user experience. Summer Internship Program  The BNY Summer Internship Program offers high-potential students a dynamic 10-week experience designed to accelerate development, build professional networks, and provide meaningful exposure to one of the world's leading financial services institutions.
