Primary School Teaching Assistant 2 and Midday Supervisory Assistant   Newick CE Primary School is a happy and successful Church of England Primary School in Newick, East Sussex.    We are seeking a Teaching Assistant 2 to work across Key Stage 2. The role will be varied and involve working with individual children and small groups of children who need different levels of support.    The ideal candidate will have experience of working with children with additional needs. Experience in supporting children KS2 with a variety of literacy, numeracy and SEMH difficulties both in lessons and within a structured intervention would be beneficial. A high standard of literacy, numeracy and ICT skills and strong safeguarding awareness are needed for this post.    In addition you would be working with our team of Midday Supervisory Assistants, helping with lunchtimes and developing a range of play opportunities.
