Teaching Assistant 2 and Midday Supervisory Assistant
Newick CE Primary School is a happy and successful Church of England Primary
School in Newick, East Sussex.
We are seeking a Teaching Assistant 2 to work across Key Stage
2. The role will
be varied and involve working with individual children and small groups of
children who need different levels of support.
The
ideal candidate will have experience of working with children with
additional needs. Experience in supporting children KS2 with a variety of
literacy, numeracy and SEMH difficulties both in lessons and within a structured
intervention would be beneficial. A high standard of literacy, numeracy and ICT
skills and strong safeguarding awareness are needed for this post.
In addition you would be working with our team of Midday Supervisory Assistants,
helping with lunchtimes and developing a range of play opportunities. The role
involves supervising children during the lunch break, both inside and outside,
whilst they eat and play.
Newick CE Primary School offers you support from staff, governors and parents,
as well as working with children who enjoy school and are keen to learn.
About the role:
Teaching Assistant 2 (Single Status Grade 3 Point 7)
Salary £25,614 per annum (pro rata)
Midday Supervisory Assistant (Single Status Grade 3 Point 7)

We are looking for a Teaching Assistant 2 for 7 hours per week (Thursday and
Friday mornings) and Midday Supervisory Assistant for 2 hours a week (Thursday
and Friday).
