A secondment opportunity has arisen for the Enforcement and Investigations Manager role within the Communities, Economy and Transport department. The Trading Standards service is responsible for enforcing regulation across a wide range of areas, covering nearly 300 pieces of legislation. The service plays a vital role in protecting vulnerable consumers and supporting businesses to operate within a fair and sustainable trading environment. We are looking for an experienced officer who can manage the day to day regulatory and enforcement function of the Trading Standards Team.  This is an exciting opportunity to provide strong leadership and direction across a complex and wide-ranging regulatory function, including fair trading, product safety, illicit tobacco, animal health and rogue trading.  We are looking for someone with: Significant experience in a regulatory or enforcement environment, including managing criminal/civil investigations. Proven leadership and people management capability or ability to develop in this area.
