Company Description Great Bear (Part of the Culina Group) provides distribution services to FMCG clients. Customer centric service focus is delivered through a site-level empowered culture. We are now recruiting for HGV Class 1 Drivers on a Full time and permanent position for Great Bear in Harworth. Job Description Shift: 5 in 7 Days - 06:00am-08:00am start window. Salary: £15.16 per hour. Overtime: x 1.5 of the hourly rate - Effective once weekly contracted hours have been worked. Ensure correct and thorough completion of paperwork Observe and adhere to company rules and procedures, including all aspects of health, safety and hygiene Maintain a good working knowledge of operations within the transport department Maintain a high standard of behaviour and appearance Effectively manage own working time in line with the Road Transport Directive Adhere to tachograph rules and regulations at all times Ensure daily vehicle checks are completed in line with company procedure Responsible for unit and trailer, including temperature checks Make deliveries to customers’ premises, acting in a professional manner at all times Qualifications Minimum of recent Class 1 Driver - 6 months is essential for this position. Knowledge of Road Transport Directive and current drivers’ hours.
