Position Purpose
The FPA lead will be responsible for 1) to direct, control and administer the financial activities of the Europe region of iNova. 2) Provide the Europe GM and the AMENA CFO with financial assessments and information to support the growth in Europe. 3) to ensure Europe planning and budgeting activities meet corporate guidelines and goals.
Key Accountabilities & Performance Indicators
1. Management
· Work closely with finance leadership team to ensure group accounting policies, controls and planning activities are followed.
· Support the Europe GM in growing the region in line with the strategic objectives.
· Ensuring business plans are scrutinised and challenged ensuring appropriate accounting treatment.
2. FP&A / Management Reporting
· Be the trusted Partner for Europe GM and management team on all financial matters.
· Deliver timely, accurate and insightful management reports as required by the business.
· Provide competitive analysis, external benchmarking, customer and channel analysis that aims at identifying business & financial opportunities and risks, driving development of action plans
· Lead and deliver detailed financial analysis including financial modelling, profitability analysis, monitoring business issues and impact to bottom line.
· Lead and deliver executive and internal management reporting packages, including analytical review and associated commentary.
· Support the regional Finance team with timely, accurate and meaningful analysis of Europe business and all submissions are on time
· Lead the Europe team in the annual Budget, Strategic Plan and monthly forecasts of the financials of the company leveraging BI tools to increase accuracy and reliability of data
· Give assessments of proposals involving financial expenditure and the financial status of operational projects.
· Represent the organisation in dealings with the organisation's bankers, legal advisers, major clients, Government representatives and others as directed by the AMENA FD and Group CFO.
· Establish and direct the Europe organisation's financial administrative activities and operational procedures to ensure the Europe organisation's profits are protected.
· Be accountable for the accuracy of Primary vs Secondary sales and associated Gross to Net adjustments.
· Support the Global and Regional functions based in Singapore
· In consultation with senior management, make recommendations and devise financial policy approaches and strategies for Europe
· Direct and coordinate economic research and major feasibility studies involving detailed financial analysis and estimates of future returns on proposed investment in Europe
· Evaluate the financial aspects of proposed acquisitions, investments, mergers, or the sale of assets or businesses for approval by Corporate.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience
· 15+ years` experience in Finance (10+ years on Finance Business Partnering)
· Big 4 trained (Desirable)
· CA/CPA/CIMA/IPA/MBA qualified (Desirable)
· Advanced computer skills including the Microsoft Office suite (Excel and Word) (Essential)
· SAP skills (Essential)
· Analytical and problem-solving skills (Essential)
· Strong technical accounting skills (Desirable)
· Experience in corporate reporting (Preferably HFM Reporting) (Desirable)
· Experience in ISGAAP and Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) (Desirable)
· Experience in administrative functions, such as purchasing or distribution
