Location: McKillop Gardens, East Kilbride
Hours: 30hrs per week, permanent
Work Pattern: early shift 7.15am - 3.15pm, late shift 2.15pm - 10.15pm, working
alternate weekends
Salary / Hourly Rate: £18.85 - £19.35 per hour, £29,485 - £30,267

The aim of Social Work Resources is to promote social welfare and provide
effective care and support to meet the needs of vulnerable people in South
Lanarkshire.
In partnership with community planning partners, voluntary and independent
provider organisations, we offer a range of services designed to enable,
support, improve and protect the health and social care of people using our
services.
The successful applicant will have experience in caring for older people,
preferably within a residential setting and be familiar with all aspects of
personal care. You will be able to construct a person centred support plan,
implement, review and evaluate its effectiveness for the service users for whom
you have responsibility. You will contribute to the assessment and review
process and administer medicines as prescribed. Shift and weekend working is
essential.
The successful candidate is required to hold a SVQ Level 3 in Social Care or a
HNC or be willing to work towards these qualifications.

Overseas Criminal Records Check
An Overseas Criminal Records Check is required where applicants born outside the
UK (Scotland, England, Wales and Northern Ireland) or who have lived or worked
outside the UK for a continuous period of 12 months in the past 10 years.
