We are recruiting for a Senior Dosimetrist to join the founding physics team at our new GenesisCare centre in Leeds. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Dosimetrist to bring their existing expertise in complex radiotherapy treatment planning while developing further specialist skills across some of the most advanced radiotherapy platforms available. You do not need to already have experience across MR-Linac, CT adaptive planning and all of the technologies we will be using in Leeds. We are looking for strong senior-level dosimetry experience and will provide a structured training programme to develop competency in the areas and platforms that are new to you. As a Senior Dosimetrist, you will play an important role in establishing and delivering the treatment planning service at our new Leeds centre. Working as part of the wider GenesisCare physics and radiotherapy network, you will contribute to complex treatment planning, adaptive radiotherapy pathways and the development of our multi-platform planning service. You will also act as a senior clinical resource within the dosimetry team, supporting colleagues and working closely with clinical oncologists, physicists and radiographers. What You’ll Do • Deliver and oversee high-quality complex radiotherapy treatment planning. • Develop competency across MR-Linac and CT-based adaptive treatment planning through structured training. • Support complex cases and adaptive planning workflows. • Work closely with clinical oncologists, physicists and radiographers to support excellent patient outcomes. • Contribute to training, quality assurance and planning governance. • Support the development of new treatment planning pathways as the Leeds service grows. • Contribute to GenesisCare's wider national treatment planning network. • Training & Development We recognise that experienced Dosimetrists are unlikely to have worked across every platform and planning technique that will be available at Leeds. For this reason, Senior Dosimetrists joining the team will undertake a structured advanced platform training programme tailored to their existing experience and development needs. Training may include: • Block-based placements at other GenesisCare centres, typically 1–2 weeks per month. • Regular national travel and overnight stays during agreed training periods. • RayStation treatment planning system training. • Elekta Unity MR-Linac workflow training. • Elekta EVO CT adaptive workflow training. • Supervised development across relevant contouring, adaptive planning, plan review and GenesisCare planning governance. Training will be planned in advance, with competency assessments and clinical sign-off completed before independent practice on new platforms. What You’ll Have • Current experience operating at Senior Dosimetrist level, or equivalent, within radiotherapy treatment planning. • Strong experience in complex radiotherapy treatment planning. • A degree or relevant professional qualification in radiography, dosimetry, clinical technology or a related discipline. • Eligibility for HCPC, AHCS or equivalent professional registration. • The ability to work confidently as a senior clinical resource and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team. • An interest in developing your expertise across advanced and adaptive radiotherapy technologies. • The flexibility to undertake national travel and training placements during the initial development period. Previous MR-Linac or adaptive radiotherapy experience would be advantageous, but it is not essential. Why Choose GenesisCare * 26 days annual leave plus bank holidays, with buy/sell options. • Private medical and dental cover, income protection and EAP. • Free world-class radiotherapy for you and your immediate family, if required. • Company contributory pension scheme. • Wellbeing support including Babylon Health and Headspace. • Free parking at most centres. • Retail discounts. Who We Are GenesisCare UK is a leading provider of private oncology services, delivering innovative and personalised cancer care across our specialist centres. We invest heavily in our people as well as our technology.
