What you'll bring to the team Ride Host Location: Alton Towers Resort Are you looking for an exciting, fun-filled role in a world-famous theme park? Alton Towers Resort is on the lookout for enthusiastic colleagues to join our team as Ride Hosts! About the Role: As a Ride Host, you’ll be the face of Alton Towers Resort, ensuring all our guests have a magical and safe experience. You’ll be responsible for assisting with the smooth running of our world-class rides, helping to create memories for families, friends, and thrill-seekers! Your key responsibilities will include: Working on our rides and attractions with a focus on safety and efficiency Engaging with guests to provide exceptional customer service Assisting with guest queries and ensuring their needs are met Managing queues, helping guests access rides safely, and ensuring everyone follows safety procedures Reporting any operational issues or incidents to the operator Support in daily presentational duties of our rides and attractions This seasonal role will run until November. Due to the nature of the position, we are looking for candidates who can demonstrate flexibility with their availability, including regular weekend work. Please note that while you are applying for roles within specific home departments such as Ride Host, Retail, or other front-line teams, you may be required to support additional departments based on operational needs. Flexibility is essential, and you may be scheduled in alternative areas at certain times during the season. Qualifications & Experience Able to demonstrate flexibility in their availability, including weekend working Friendly and approachable with excellent communication skills Enthusiastic and willing to create a positive guest experience Comfortable working in a fast-paced, outdoor environment Ready to take on responsibility and ensure health and safety standards are met Able to work by themselves and as part of a team A head for heights would be beneficial No previous experience is necessary!
