Prepare, count and sort operating equipment, ensuring correct handling of chemicals and safe storage of all items in accordance with manufacturer's instructions. Ensure all crockery, cutlery and glassware is hygienically cleaned and safely stored following established cleaning rosters and standard methods. Produce and present dishes to the required standard, ensuring correct temperature and timely delivery to suit guests' needs and fluctuations in service demands. Collect and dispose of dry and wet waste correctly from all kitchen areas each shift, utilising safe and hygienic removal methods. Manage stock rotation, implement stock control procedures and communicate with Restaurant staff regarding menu availability and service changes. Follow departmental service procedures, maintain confidentiality regarding hotel and guest information, and undertake any other reasonable duties as requested by your Supervisor or Hotel Management.
