Spire Yale Hospital, Wrexham has an exciting opportunity for a Housekeeper to
join our experienced Housekeeping team on a part-time, permanent basis.
Working hours
This role is for 15 hours per week, working 2 shifts per week Monday to Friday
8am-2pm. Shift days may vary week on week, so please only apply if you are able
to commit to these hours.
Contract type: Permanent
Hourly rate: £12.76 per hour
Role Purpose
As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of
cleanliness within the hospital. You will play an important role in ensuring a
clean, safe and welcoming environment for patients, visitors and colleagues.
Duties and Responsibilities
Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
• Completing cleaning schedules in line with the requirements of your shift.
• Ensuring rooms are clean, prepared and set up to the correct layout as
required.
• Maintaining cleanliness across offices, clinical areas and public spaces.
• Working closely with clinical colleagues to support the day-to-day needs of
the hospital.
• Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety regulations, including COSHH.
• Supporting the team to maintain consistently high standards across the
hospital.
Who We Are Looking For
No formal qualifications are required, but we are looking for someone who is
reliable, professional and able to communicate clearly with colleagues, patients
and visitors.
The
ideal candidate will have:
• Previous experience in a similar cleaning or housekeeping role, ideally in a
customer-facing environment.
• Good communication skills.
• The ability to build rapport with patients, visitors and colleagues.
• A team-focused approach.
• The ability to work independently and use initiative.
• A methodical and organised approach to work.
• High personal standards and attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work evenings and some weekends.
