Join our Digital team and play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability,
and resilience of customer-facing digital solutions. This role is responsible
for driving effective testing practices across the software delivery lifecycle,
ensuring quality is built into products from the earliest stages of development
through to production release.
You will apply your expertise across a range of testing disciplines, including
mobile UI testing, API testing, integration testing, and end-to-end validation.
Working closely with engineers, product owners, and delivery teams, you will
help define and implement test strategies that provide the right level of
coverage while supporting efficient and timely delivery.

For this job you'll spend at least two days per week, or if part time you'll

RESPONSIBILITIES
What you’ll be doing
This role will work as part of a multi-skilled engineering team, delivering
high-quality software through modern quality engineering practices. You’ll
design and implement effective test strategies across component, integration,
system and end-to-end testing, applying your Business Banking knowledge to
ensure solutions meet customer, operational, regulatory and business
requirements. You’ll also lead integration testing across a complex digital
landscape, working with multiple internal systems, third-party suppliers and
shared services.
You’ll champion an automation-first approach to quality, identifying where
automation adds the greatest value and ensuring quality is embedded throughout
the delivery lifecycle. By identifying risks early, producing reliable test
evidence and quality reporting, and providing technical guidance to engineers,
product teams and stakeholders, you’ll help teams make informed delivery
decisions and build confidence in releases. You’ll also continuously develop and
share your knowledge, helping to strengthen engineering capability and drive
improvements in software quality across teams.
About you
As a minimum requirement, you’ll have:
• Experience testing within Business Banking, financial services, or other
complex regulated environments
• Experience testing complex end-to-end business processes across multiple
integrated applications, services, and third-party platforms
• Excellent understanding of integration testing, API testing, service
virtualisation and validation of complex data and system flows
• Experience performing accessibility testing using industry-standard
accessibility testing tools
• Good knowledge of Business Banking products, customer journeys, operational
processes, and associated regulatory considerations
• Ability to mentor and support testers while promoting quality engineering
best practices across teams
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively
with engineers, product teams, and stakeholders
