Job Description Job Title: Laboratory Technician Job Type: Temporary 12 months Salary: £24,758 pa Location: Cambridge Hours: Monday To Friday 9am to 5pm Industry: Health & Nutrition, Food This is an entry level position so we are not requiring any previous lab experience or degree. Role overview: Perform sample preparation and extraction following SGS-approved SOPs. Report any equipment or instrumentation failures to senior staff. Maintain organized, auditable laboratory records. Complete daily tasks efficiently to support operational output. Maintain a safe working environment, following Health & Safety protocols Qualifications The ideal candidate would be from a food process driven background such as fast food restaurants or food manufacturing. This is an entry level position so we are not requiring any previous lab experience or degree. Experience in working with food and fast paced environments Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately. Good organisational skills to maintain records and compliance.
