OVERVIEW:
We’re looking for a commercially minded and data-driven Commercial Analyst to join a growing Insights team. In this role, you’ll turn complex data into clear, actionable recommendations that directly influence commercial performance and strategic decision-making.
Working closely with stakeholders across Commercial, Brand, Marketing, eCommerce, Customer and Operations teams, you’ll help uncover opportunities that drive revenue, margin and conversion. You’ll be a trusted partner, using data to identify trends, solve business challenges and support key trading, budgeting and forecasting decisions.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
Analyse complex business data and deliver actionable insights that improve commercial performance.
Support stakeholders across multiple business functions, including Commercial, Brand, Marketing, eCommerce, Customer and Operations.
Combine insights from multiple data sources to provide a holistic view of business performance and strategic opportunities.
Partner with commercial stakeholders to understand objectives and translate business challenges into data-driven recommendations.
Support key business processes including trading, budgeting, forecasting and commercial planning.
Deliver ad hoc analysis to support projects, initiatives and business priorities.
Create and maintain clear, accurate and engaging dashboards that enable self-service access to insights.
Use data visualisation techniques to communicate findings in a simple and impactful way.
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation, AI and new analytical approaches.
Collaborate with Data Engineering and BI teams to ensure analytics requirements are understood and prioritised.
Proactively identify risks, challenges and opportunities that could impact delivery or business performance.
Manage competing priorities effectively to ensure stakeholders receive timely, high-quality insights.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
Essential Criteria:
Experience using data and analytics to support commercial decision-making and business strategy.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into practical recommendations.
Advanced knowledge of SQL, including joins, CTEs, window functions and cloud-based data environments.
Experience with Looker or similar business intelligence and dashboarding tools.
Strong understanding of GA4 and digital performance analytics.
Expertise in statistical analysis, modelling and data-driven decision-making techniques.
Experience working within a fast-paced direct-to-consumer (D2C) retail or eCommerce environment.
Experience within apparel or fashion retail would be highly advantageous.
Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to non-technical audiences.
Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
Excellent prioritisation, organisation and project management capabilities.
A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement, innovation and automation.
Ability to focus analytical efforts on high-value opportunities that deliver measurable business impact.
