We are looking for {Insert role] to join our {Insert Department] Team. We are looking for Mobile Engineers at both mid and senior level to join our Digital & Technology Transformation Team. As we transform into a Social Wellness Club, we are redefining how we approach technology and building globally scalable solutions. A key part of this transformation is bringing our core member engagement platform—including our mobile app and related services—under one central team. This team will own a unified codebase, enabling faster and more consistent feature delivery across multiple countries. As a Mobile Engineer, you will design, build and maintain high-quality mobile experiences using Kotlin Multiplatform. Working closely with Engineering Leads, Product Managers, Designers, QA and backend engineers, you will deliver features across Android and iOS through shared Kotlin Multiplatform modules and platform-specific implementations where required. This is a hands-on engineering role, with opportunities available at both mid and senior level. The level of appointment will reflect your experience, technical capability and the level of ownership you are ready to take. Role Type: Permanent • Full Time The Role Design, build and maintain mobile application features using Kotlin Multiplatform. Contribute to shared business logic, domain, networking and platform integration layers across Android and iOS. Implement platform-specific functionality where required, while maximising appropriate reuse through shared Kotlin Multiplatform modules. Write clean, maintainable and testable code aligned with agreed engineering standards and architecture. Work closely with Product Managers and Designers to translate member needs and product requirements into robust technical solutions. Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate the mobile application with APIs, services and third-party platforms. Deliver technical work through design, development, testing, release and post-release support. Participate in code reviews and use peer feedback to continuously improve implementation quality. Troubleshoot production issues and contribute to root-cause analysis and preventative improvements. Improve app reliability, performance, observability and maintainability across the mobile stack. Support mobile release processes, automated testing, CI/CD improvements and engineering automation. Contribute to sprint planning, backlog refinement, estimation and retrospectives. Communicate technical constraints, delivery risks and trade-offs clearly to the Engineering Lead and wider team. Identify opportunities to reduce technical debt, simplify solutions and improve delivery speed and quality. Contribute to engineering documentation, technical knowledge sharing and reusable development practices. Stay current with developments across mobile engineering, Kotlin and Kotlin Multiplatform. At senior level, you will also: Take ownership of complex features and technical solutions from initial design through to production. Contribute to architectural decisions and help shape the future direction of our mobile platforms. Provide technical guidance and support to other engineers. Help improve and embed engineering standards, testing practices and development processes. Work with Engineering Leads to identify technical risks and make pragmatic decisions that balance reuse, performance, maintainability and user experience. Experience Professional experience building and supporting production mobile applications. Strong hands-on experience with Kotlin and modern mobile engineering practices. Experience working within a cross-platform or shared-code mobile environment, ideally using Kotlin Multiplatform. A strong understanding of mobile architecture, design patterns, modularisation and maintainable software design. Experience integrating mobile applications with backend APIs, services and third-party platforms. A good understanding of RESTful APIs, client-side networking and mobile application performance. Experience writing unit tests and contributing to wider automated testing practices. Familiarity with version control, peer code reviews and collaborative engineering workflows. Strong debugging, problem-solving and communication skills. The ability to work effectively as a hands-on engineer within a cross-functional Product and Engineering team. Production experience with Kotlin Multiplatform would be advantageous. Experience contributing to both Android and iOS delivery through shared cross-platform modules would be beneficial. Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, mobile release management, crash reporting and observability tools would be beneficial. Experience within consumer-facing digital products, subscription services, wellness, lifestyle or marketplace platforms would be advantageous. For our senior-level opportunities, you will also have experience owning complex technical work, contributing to architectural decisions and improving engineering practices within a team. You will be comfortable providing technical guidance, constructively challenging decisions and clearly communicating technical risks and trade-offs.
