We are looking to hire a Senior Data Governance Analyst
• Collibra, to join our
Management Information (MI) team at Nationwide Building Society. This is an
exciting opportunity for a data-focused professional to play a key role in
ensuring the quality, integrity and governance of data that is critical to the
effective operation of our Collections & Recoveries function.
In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring, analysing and reporting on
the quality of data owned by and essential to the running of Collections &
Recoveries. Working closely with business stakeholders, you will identify data
quality issues, investigate root causes and support the implementation of
effective solutions to improve data accuracy, completeness and consistency
across the department.
You will also support the department's compliance with Data Governance policies
and controls by partnering with the Data Steward to create, define and maintain
key data management artefacts, including business terms, metadata, data lineage
and business rules. The successful candidate will play an important role in
promoting strong data governance practices, ensuring that data is understood,
managed and utilised effectively to support business decision-making, regulatory
requirements and customer outcomes.
This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent
attention to detail and the ability to build effective relationships with
stakeholders across the business. You will be comfortable working with large and
complex data sets, translating technical concepts into meaningful business
insights and contributing to the continuous improvement of data quality and
governance standards across Collections & Recoveries.

For this job you'll be located at our nearest regional office or hub. There will
be a need to regularly connect with colleagues for collaboration and in some
locations you’ll be expected to spend at least two days a week, or if part time
