We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Cyber Senior Project Manager to join the Cyber Delivery Assurance Team within our Security & Resilience function. This team plays a critical role in safeguarding the organisation by leading the successful delivery of complex cyber security initiatives and strategic technology programmes. Working across multiple business and technology stakeholders, the team is responsible for implementing innovative security solutions, enhancing cyber resilience, and strengthening our overall security posture in an increasingly complex threat landscape. This is a 6-month secondment opportunity.   At Nationwide we offer hybrid working wherever possible. We value time spent together to connect with colleagues for collaboration so there will be a regular requirement to attend our Glasgow site approximately (once per quarter). If you are based at an office location, you'll be expected to meet our hybrid working requirement of at least two days a week, or 40% of your working time if part-time, in the office. If you’re based at our Glasgow office, this will apply from 1 April 2027 and ahead of that there will be a need to regularly connect with colleagues for collaboration events. RESPONSIBILITIES   What you’ll be doing   As a Cyber Senior Project Manager, you will take ownership of the successful delivery of complex cyber security projects and programmes, acting as the critical link between business stakeholders, technology teams, and senior leadership. You will engage with and represent the needs of internal customers throughout the entire project lifecycle, from concept and business case development through implementation and benefits realisation, ensuring solutions deliver meaningful outcomes and strategic value.   Leveraging your extensive project management expertise, you will drive robust planning, governance, budget control, risk and issue management, resource allocation, and decision-making activities, maintaining a relentless focus on delivery excellence. You will lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams across multiple locations, bringing together both technical and non-technical specialists to deliver high-quality outcomes in a demanding and fast-paced environment.   Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will identify and secure the resources required for success, build strong relationships across the organisation, and influence decision-making to ensure programme objectives remain aligned with strategic priorities. You will also manage key third-party suppliers and technology partners, ensuring deliverables are achieved, dependencies are effectively managed, and issues are resolved promptly to minimise delivery risk.   About you   You will have experience in the below: • Demonstrable experience in a complex project delivery environment, with business and technology deliverables and / or changes involving external 3rd party providers. • Highly articulate with exceptional communications and inter-personal skills. • Proven leadership, influencing and decision-making skills. • Proven management of financial budgets supporting the delivery of complex projects, including internal and external costs. • Proven stakeholder management skills, including face-to-face communications and the creation of Management Information material. • Proven management and delivery against project plans, clearly understanding and communicating critical path and associated RAIDs   Our customer first behaviours put customers and members at the heart of how we work together.
