Bank Healthcare Assistant | HCA | Brentwood | Bank, Ad hoc shifts
Spire Hartswood Hospital are looking for an experienced HCA to work across
various departments within the hospital. You will be providing a caring support
service to our patients across different departments.
Spire Hartswood is a 50 bedded acute hospital situated in Essex. The hospital
offers a range of services and facilities including four operating theatres, a
sterile services department, a dedicated endoscopy suite, and a diagnostic and
imaging department with an MRI and CT scanner. There are outpatient and
physiotherapy departments providing services six days a week.
Duties and responsibilities
• Assisting the Outpatients/Pre-Assessment & Wards team in the provision of
exemplary patient care
• Contributing to the support and monitoring of patients
• Identifying and reporting any significant changes that might affect the
patient’s health and well-being to the appropriate person.
• Assisting with the movement of patients in line with hospital policies
Who we're looking for
• Previous experience of working as an HCA (or equivalent) in a clinical
environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• NVQ Level 3 is desirable but not essential.
• Experience in the following: ECGs, taking blood/blood pressures and patient
observations.
