We are seeking reliable, friendly and trustworthy individuals to join our growing team working across North Ayrshire. Job Description Care Assistant – Largsand surrounding areas Pay: £13.50 per hour | Double time on bank holidays | Mileage 33p to 45p/mile | Part-time, flexible hours | Driving licence and own vehicle required Why care with us, not just any agency Most home care visits elsewhere are 15–30 minutes — rushed, task-only, in and out. Every visit with us is a minimum of 1 hour, so you actually have time to make a difference, not just tick a box. We match you to clients based on shared interests and hobbies, so you're building real relationships in your own local community, not seeing a different stranger every day. If you've got a kind heart and reliable transport, we'll teach you everything else. What you'll be doing Companionship – chats, trips out, time that matters General housekeeping – cooking, cleaning, helping a home feel like home Non-medical personal care, with full training provided No experience needed. We just need you to care. What we offer £13.50 per hour, weekly pay Double time for bank holidays 33p to 45p per mile fuel contribution Fully funded SVQ Level 2 Health & Social Care qualification Industry-leading, award-winning training from day one 24/7 Employee Assistance Programme Employee discount scheme Company pension Referral bonus scheme Real career progression – many of our senior staff started exactly where you are now Qualifications What we're looking for Compassionate, reliable, and a good communicator Someone who wants to make a genuine difference to an older person's life, locally A full driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential for getting between client visits across the area – other transport arrangements considered only in exceptional circumstances) This role is subject to an enhanced PVG check, as you'll be working with vulnerable adults. Additional Information Applicants must have a driving licence and access to a vehicle although other methods of transportation may be acceptable and given due consideration depending on the needs of the client and their location.
