We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, OPS Administration and Planning to join our Operations team. This role is located in Manchester. In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: · Lead and actively manage strategic initiatives of significant impact for the Wealth Services Operations function by defining scope, structure, and governance for complex projects related to business initiatives , risk, regulatory items, and strategic change, ensuring consideration across operational platforms. · Manage highly complex special projects and programs, including implementation of policies, standards, and processes, major operational enhancements, and cross-functional strategic projects, by applying advanced project management discipline, robust issue and risk management, and structured stakeholder engagement. · Analyze project and program implementation status, including financial, risk, and operational impacts for PI Planning cycles and manage WSO Book of work for development. · Work closely with senior management and Operations/function management teams to review Business Acceptance Criteria for new client and market offerings. · Develop and deliver high-quality executive-level communications, including presentations, status updates, and briefing materials to support effective decision-making and reinforce BNY’s strategic pillars and principles. To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: · Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, operations, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. · Extensive years of relevant experience within financial services or wealth management operations. · Strong project and program management expertise. · Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. · Experience managing multiple priorities, operational governance, and strategic initiatives. · Knowledge of risk, regulatory, and control frameworks. · Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare executive-level presentations and materials. · Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills. · Formal project or program management training or certification, such as PMP, PgMP, or Agile, is desirable. Demonstrate AI knowledge.
