Partner with the best As a Senior Sourcing Specialist, you will provide procurement leadership for the execution of complex customer projects with stringent contractual, technical, quality, and compliance requirements. Acting as the primary procurement focal point, you will coordinate sourcing and procurement activities across multiple workstreams, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. You will be responsible for driving procurement execution against demanding schedules, managing supplier performance, mitigating supply chain risks, and ensuring compliance with customer-specific processes and governance standards. This role requires a highly experienced procurement professional with strong project execution capabilities and the ability to influence stakeholders in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. As a Senior Sourcing Specialist, you will be responsible for: Leading procurement execution activities throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring purchasing activities are completed in line with project schedules, contractual commitments, and customer requirements. Acting as the primary procurement focal point for assigned projects, partnering closely with Engineering, Project Management, Manufacturing, Quality, Logistics, and Commercial teams. Managing supplier performance across quality, delivery, cost, technical compliance, and responsiveness to meet project objectives. Ensuring adherence to customer-specific procurement processes, technical specifications, regulatory requirements, and governance frameworks. Identifying, assessing, and mitigating supply chain risks that may impact project schedules, delivery milestones, or customer commitments. Resolving supplier escalations, commercial disputes, delivery challenges, and performance issues to minimise business impact. Monitoring procurement progress and communicating project updates, risks, and recovery plans to project leadership and key stakeholders. Coordinating procurement activities required for customer audits, inspections, documentation reviews, and approval processes. Managing scope changes and supplier-related impacts while ensuring compliance with contractual and customer requirements. Driving cross-functional collaboration to align procurement strategies with project execution goals and customer expectations. Providing procurement expertise and guidance on complex sourcing decisions, balancing cost, quality, risk, and schedule considerations. Supporting contract administration and supplier governance activities to ensure suppliers fulfil all commercial, technical, quality, and delivery obligations. Fuel your passion To be successful in this role, you will: Have significant experience in sourcing, procurement, and supply chain management, preferably within Manufacturing, Engineering, Energy, or Oil & Gas industries. Demonstrate experience managing procurement activities for complex projects and customer-driven environments. Have strong knowledge of supplier performance management, contract execution, and risk mitigation strategies. Be proficient in ERP systems such as SAP and/or Oracle. Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across multiple stakeholder groups. Demonstrate strong problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making capabilities. Hold a valid and permanent right to work in the United Kingdom.
