We are currently recruiting Class 1 (C+E) Ports Drivers to join our growing operation, moving containers throughout the UK from key port locations. Permanent contract from day one Guaranteed hours and regular work Competitive pay rates Day and Night shift opportunities available Modern fleet and equipment Supportive transport and operations teams Long-term career stability with a leading logistics operation The Role Working within our container transport operation, you will be responsible for: Transporting containers nationwide from port locations Delivering to customer sites across the UK Completing all vehicle checks and transport documentation Ensuring compliance with Driver Hours Regulations and company procedures Maintaining high standards of safety, professionalism and customer service Shift Patterns Available Day Shifts Monday to Friday Weekend shifts available Night Shifts Monday to Friday Tuesday to Saturday Night start times available across the evening and overnight period. Pay Rates Monday to Friday Days: £14.60 per hour Monday to Friday Nights: £15.80 per hour Saturday & Sunday Days: £17.60 per hour Saturday & Sunday Nights: £18.10 per hour Bank Holidays: £18.41 per hour Qualifications Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence Driver CPC Qualification Card Digital Tachograph Card Previous container experience is desirable but not essential Good knowledge of Driver Hours and WTD regulations A professional and safety-focused attitude Additional Information You should hold a valid C+E Licence and ideally have a minimum of 6 months HGV Class 1 driving experience (We will consider New Pass Drivers) No more than 6 points and no DD/ DR Code convictions. Hold a current valid DCPC & Tacho cards. Understand and able to comply with Driver’s hours and WTD legislation. Able to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and able to report defects correctly. Should comply with on-site health and safety requirements. Excellent communication skills.
