A great opportunity to join our high-performing Fabrics team at M&S, playing an integral role at the heart of product creation. The team operates in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, with a strong and supportive culture. We’re looking for a Technical Admin Assistant who is organised, proactive, and keen to learn. This role is ideal for someone at the early stages of their career in fashion or product development, with a genuine interest in fabrics and a desire to grow within a technical function. In this role, you’ll support the day-to-day running of the fabrics team, managing key data, tracking fabric developments and samples, and preparing for meetings and fit sessions. You’ll play an important part in ensuring quality and performance standards are consistently met, while gaining end-to-end exposure to the fabric lifecycle. This is a hands-on, detail-driven role where strong organisation, accuracy, and a proactive mindset are key. Full training and ongoing support will be provided to help you develop and succeed. What you’ll do  Your key accountabilities will include • Contribute as an active member of the team to work within a commercially focused culture and support the Fabric Technologist and Sustainability teams where required • Understanding of PLM system – Including CP Management and reporting • Be aware of fabric development process and support Fabric Technologist to upload supporting documents to PLM. • Communicate information to Fabric Technologist, Project Managers and wider Fabric & Sustainability team • Support technology teams with PLM fabric library management to ensure clean data input, consolidation of like materials and correct documentation is available for approval and traceability  Who you are  Your skills and experience will include • Basic understanding of garment and fabric technology • Computer literate strong excel skills and knowledge of PLM systems.  • Good organisational skills and an eye for detail • Multitask orientated with the ability to work to deadlines to achieve the Buying critical path • Understanding of Marks & Spencer buying process     What’s in it for you?  Working at M&S means being part of something bigger - helping to deliver quality, value and service to millions of customers every day.
