An exciting opportunity exists within our successful and fast-growing Asset Finance division.  If you're passionate and ambitious about playing a key role in helping shape and grow our business, then please read on.   We are looking for dynamic people, who are ready to make a real difference to an expanding specialist asset finance team.  Providing a truly complete service in this market facing role, the Receivables Originator Structured Finance, will support the Senior Director to originate, effectively manage, and successfully grow a diverse client portfolio, which includes Asset Finance’s largest and most sophisticated customers, who require complex tailored products.   As Receivables Originator Structured Asset Finance, you’ll play a key role within our Asset Finance business, helping drive growth through the origination, structuring and management of complex, high-value lending relationships.  Working with specialist lessors, introducers, vendor finance providers and other industry participants, you’ll develop bespoke funding solutions that meet customer need, whilst supporting Nationwide’s strategic ambitions. Alongside the Senior Director, you’ll be responsible for identifying new opportunities across Structured Asset Finance, including receivables-based transactions, undisclosed agency arrangements and other strategic funding solutions.  Working closely with Credit, Risk, Legal, and Operations teams, you’ll help ensure transactions are structured effectively, managed appropriately and deliver strong customer outcomes. We’re a workplace where you’re rewarded, recognised and celebrated.   Nationwide is committed to the redeployment of our employees impacted by change, as such applications for redeployment candidates will be prioritised in this recruitment process.   If you’re a colleague on long-term absence (for example, on parental leave) or a temporary worker, please use your personal email address to submit an application.   RESPONSIBILITIES   What you’ll be doing   You’ll be responsible for originating and developing new Structured Asset Finance relationships, identifying opportunities across the market and building a high-quality pipeline of future business.    You’ll assist in customer discussions, structure bespoke financing solutions and negotiate commercial terms for complex transactions, often working alongside legal advisers and other specialists.    You will collaborate closely with Credit, Risk, Finance and Operations colleagues to ensure transactions are executed effectively and meet Nationwide’s risk and return expectations.   As a recognised industry participant, you’ll actively develop your external network, identifying emerging market opportunities and help shape the future direction of Nationwide’s Asset Finance proposition.   About you   To be successful in this role you’ll be able to demonstrate:   • Significant experience originating and developing new business within the Asset Finance sector. • Proven experience structuring and executing complex, high-value Asset Finance transactions. • Technical knowledge of Structured Asset Finance products, legal documentation and transaction negotiation. • Experience working within a regulated banking or financial services environment with a sound understanding of risk, pricing and governance requirements. • Demonstrable track record of building and maintaining senior relationships across introducers, lessors, funders, and other industry stakeholders. • Experience collaborating with and influencing key internal stakeholders, including Credit, Risk, Finance, Governance and Operations functions. • Proven understanding of a range of asset classes and the associated commercial and risk considerations.   Our customer first behaviours put customers and members at the heart of how we work together.
