Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting for an experienced Quality Assurance Officer to join Bolton Council's Children's Services on a locum basis.
This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in improving practice standards and driving positive outcomes for children and families across the service. You'll work closely with operational teams and managers to ensure high-quality social work practice and continuous service improvement.
What will your responsibilities be?
Undertake audits of children's social care casework.
Identify strengths, areas for development and themes across the service.
Support quality assurance and performance improvement activity.
Contribute to practice development and learning initiatives.
Produce detailed audit reports and recommendations.
Work closely with managers and practitioners to promote best practice and compliance with statutory requirements.

Qualifications and Experience:
To be successful in this role you must have;
Social Work England Registration.
Qualified Social Worker status.
Significant experience within Children's Social Care.
Strong understanding of safeguarding legislation and statutory guidance.
Experience of auditing, quality assurance or practice improvement work is desirable.
Excellent analytical and report-writing skills.
