About the Role
We are looking for a motivated Quality Analyst to join our growing Quality team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who is
looking to build their experience within a manufacturing and quality
environment.
In this role, you will support the inspection and assessment of materials,
components and assemblies used within our products, helping to ensure they meet
the required quality standards before entering production. You'll work closely
with colleagues across Quality, Production, Engineering and Supply Chain,
developing valuable
technical skills while contributing to the delivery of
high-quality products.
This position would suit someone with some previous experience in manufacturing,
quality control, laboratory, engineering or technical inspection environments
who is keen to develop a long-term career in Quality.
What You'll Be Doing
• Carrying out incoming inspections of materials, components and assemblies
against approved specifications and acceptance criteria.
• Performing visual and dimensional inspections using measurement equipment
such as calipers, gauges and micrometers.
• Recording inspection results accurately within quality systems and
maintaining traceability records.
• Identifying and documenting non-conforming materials and supporting quality
investigations.
• Assisting with the collection and analysis of quality data to identify trends
and areas for improvement.
• Supporting production teams with component and material-related quality
issues.
• Working with internal teams to help resolve quality concerns and improve
processes.
• Contributing to continuous improvement activities and the ongoing development
of inspection methods and procedures.
• Maintaining high standards of quality, accuracy and attention to detail in
all activities.
About You
We're looking for someone who is enthusiastic, detail-oriented and eager to
develop their technical and quality knowledge.
Essential
• Degree, HNC/HND, apprenticeship, or equivalent qualification in a scientific,
engineering, manufacturing or quality-related discipline.
• Some experience within a manufacturing, production, laboratory, quality,
inspection or engineering environment.
• Ability to follow procedures and work accurately with a high level of
attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Desirable
• Experience carrying out inspections or quality checks.
• Familiarity with measurement equipment such as calipers, gauges or
micrometers.
• Exposure to manufacturing or production processes.
• Experience reviewing technical drawings or specifications.
• Understanding of quality systems, non-conformances or root cause
investigations.
• Experience within a regulated or highly controlled environment.
