ABOUT NEXGEN CLOUD
NexGen Cloud is a fast-growing GPU cloud and AI infrastructure business. We're the company behind Hyperstack — a self-serve, on-demand cloud platform built for high-performance AI, HPC, and compute-heavy workloads. Powered by 100% renewable energy and NVIDIA architecture, Hyperstack gives teams from AI startups to enterprise the compute they need, without the cost or complexity of legacy cloud.
We move fast, solve hard problems, and build things that matter. If you want ownership, real impact, and a front-row seat to one of the most consequential infrastructure shifts of the decade — this is the place.
THE ROLE: SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER
NexGen's GPU deployment pipeline is scaling fast, and hardware delays are starting to feed straight into slippage on live go-live dates. This is a new, standalone role — not a backfill — created to own that problem end to end.
This is a role for someone who's comfortable owning ambiguity, builds the process and tooling that doesn't exist yet rather than waiting for it, and takes accountability for the delivery schedule as a bottom-line outcome — not just activity.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Rather than a checklist, here's what success in this role actually looks like:
Own the end-to-end delivery schedule for infrastructure hardware feeding the GPU deployment pipeline — this is the role's bottom-line accountability
Manage day-to-day, transactional relationships with hardware vendors and OEMs covering switches, cabling, optics and racks
Track vendor performance against committed timelines and escalate slippage before it affects the deployment schedule
Design and implement supply chain tracking processes and tooling from scratch, selecting the tools needed since none exist today
Coordinate purchase orders, delivery confirmations and invoicing with Finance and OEM contacts
Work alongside the Technical Program Manager (TPM) on the broader vendor relationship structure, while independently owning the transactional day-to-day layer
Keep the CIO, TPM and Engineering informed of delivery risk and schedule impact, clearly and without noise
ABOUT YOU
We care more about how you think and work than a perfect CV. You'll likely bring a combination of the following:
Essential:
Background in infrastructure supply chain, procurement or logistics — data-centre experience with switches, cabling, optics and racks is valued; GPU or HPC-specific experience is not required
Direct experience managing OEM vendor relationships
Demonstrated ability to operate in a startup or scale-up environment without established tools, processes or playbooks
Comfortable owning the transactional, day-to-day layer of vendor management, working alongside a TPM function that owns the broader relationship structure
Track record of building supply chain processes and tooling from the ground up
Nice to Have:
Experience in neo-cloud, colocation or hyperscale operator environments
Experience operating in a high-volume, high-traffic hardware environment
GPU or HPC-specific supply chain experience — a plus, not a requirement
WHAT WE OFFER
Competitive salary and annual discretionary bonus scheme
Employee wellbeing benefits
25 days holiday, plus public holidays
Private Medical Insurance
Enhanced Pension Scheme
Flexible working arrangements (remote or hybrid, depending on role and location)
Real ownership and autonomy — the trust to take initiative and experiment
Visible, meaningful impact as we scale
Clear career progression in a high-growth company
A collaborative, international culture built on trust, transparency, and ownership
The chance to help shape NexGen Cloud's team, culture, and future
WHY APPLY
We welcome applications from all backgrounds. If you enjoy solving complex infrastructure problems and want to build something meaningful at scale, we'd like to hear from you.
