Role purpose Lead the delivery of strategic technology initiatives that shape the future of our business. We're seeking an experienced Technology Delivery Manager to join our Technology team and play a pivotal role in delivering a portfolio of complex technology, transformation and business change initiatives. This is a leadership role responsible for overseeing multiple concurrent programs and projects, driving delivery excellence, and building a high-performing project management capability across the organisation. Working closely with senior stakeholders across Technology and the broader business, you will ensure strategic initiatives are delivered on time, within budget and aligned to business objectives, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration and accountability. What You'll Be Doing Lead Strategic Program Delivery Oversee a diverse portfolio of technology and transformation initiatives from planning through to successful delivery. Ensure appropriate delivery methodologies are applied, whether Agile, Waterfall or Hybrid. Monitor program performance, manage dependencies and proactively address risks and issues. Provide clear and impactful reporting to senior leaders and key stakeholders. Build and Lead a High-Performing Delivery Team Lead, mentor and develop a team of Project Managers, creating a strong community of practice. Drive consistency in project management standards, tools, governance and delivery frameworks. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous learning and delivery excellence. Support capability uplift through coaching, mentoring and development initiatives. Drive Portfolio Planning and Governance Lead portfolio planning, resource allocation and capacity management across multiple initiatives. Partner with stakeholders to prioritise work and align resources to business outcomes. Establish and continuously improve project governance, delivery frameworks and reporting practices. Ensure compliance with risk, governance and organisational standards. Partner with Stakeholders Across the Business Build trusted relationships with business leaders, sponsors and technology teams. Influence decision-making through clear communication, commercial thinking and delivery expertise. Facilitate alignment across diverse stakeholder groups to drive successful outcomes. Manage Financial Performance Oversee project and program budgets, forecasting and resource planning. Ensure financial accountability and optimise investment outcomes. Track performance against budget and proactively manage cost risks. What We're Looking For Experience Significant experience leading complex technology, transformation and enterprise-wide change programs. Proven success managing multiple projects and competing priorities within a portfolio environment. Strong people leadership experience, including developing and mentoring project delivery teams. Demonstrated experience in portfolio governance, resource planning and operational delivery. Strong financial management experience including budgeting, forecasting and cost control. Technical Knowledge & Capability Deep understanding of Agile, Waterfall and Hybrid delivery methodologies, and when to apply each effectively. Strong project governance, risk management and portfolio management expertise. Ability to establish and embed best-practice delivery frameworks and processes. Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills. Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence at all levels of an organisation. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level reporting. Relevant project management or delivery certifications (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2, Agile certifications) are highly regarded.
