* 16.25 hours per week equalling 3.25 hours per day, Monday to Friday over the
lunchtime period, 10.15am - 1.30pm, Term Time only

Lancashire County Council provide catering services to over 500 schools across
Lancashire, serving over 60,000 school meals per day and we are looking for
committed individuals to join the service.
You will work as part of a team in Revo Learning Academy Providing high quality,
healthy, balanced meals for school children.
Key responsibilities vary between job roles:
• Prepare the dining area for service, including the moving and setting up of
furniture and putting away.
• Assist in the preparation, cooking and serving of food and beverages.
• Clean all equipment and catering areas.
What we are looking for:
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to work under pressure and use own initiative.
• Good customer care skills
• Previous catering and food preparation experience is essential.
• Attention to detail essential.

Local Government Reorganisation
The Government has confirmed that local government across Lancashire will be
reorganised, with the current 15 councils being replaced by four new unitary
councils covering North, South, East and West Lancashire from April 20
28.
If you are successful in your application, you will initially join Lancashire
County Council. However, as part of the planned transition, your employment will
transfer to one of the new unitary councils from April 2028, subject to the
implementation of the reorganisation and relevant employment legislation.
