Our work environment includes: • Safe work environment • Growth opportunities • Supportive and Caring Culture • Wellness and EAP Longmoor Care is seeking a Support Worker in Sutton Coldfield to join our team providing exceptional care and support to individuals with Learning Disabilities, Autism and Behaviour that may challenge. The Support Worker will ensure that they provide care and support in a person-centred way and give the individuals the opportunity to maintain their independence and gain new skills. Longmoor Care is a Health and Social Care Company looking for, enthusiastic, compassionate and caring people to provide support to vulnerable young adults in a residential setting, supporting the individuals access the community. Shift Pattern: 3 shifts on / 3 off. 12hr each shift Interviews are face to face interviews only. These will take place in the homes where we have the vacancies. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Work Location: In person Challenging Behaviours: Support Worker, Waking Night and Day Ability to commute/relocate: • Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) To provide care in accordance with best practice, according to policy and procedures, agreed standards, legislative requirements and relevant regulations. Assist in the development of the philosophy, goals and objectives of the care practice. Assist in the assessment of the effectiveness of care implementation and delivery, including personal care. Ensure Service Users rights are protected. Promote a positive image for residency and employment within the Home. Support the implementation of the Home's policies and procedures. Support a work atmosphere which promotes a high quality of work. Support and maintain a culture of performance and excellence. Additional leave Company pension Pay: £13.00-£14.57 per hour
