What you’ll be doing
Carrying out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across multiple sites
Taking responsibility for electrical systems as an Authorised and Responsible Person
Managing permits, isolations and ensuring safe systems of work
Reviewing electrical certificates and ensuring compliance
Supporting site teams with technical advice and guidance
Assisting with minor works, upgrades and inspections
You’ll work across a small number of sites, giving you variety without excessive travel.
What we’re looking for
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation
18th Edition (or working towards)
City & Guilds 2391 (or equivalent) Inspection & Testing
AM2 and/or ECS Gold Card
Experience in commercial or industrial environments
Full UK driving licence
Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
Experience with fire alarms, CCTV, or working in regulated environments is a bonus—but not essential.
Prison Security Clearance will be required (Amey will support you through this process).
