Department: Drainage/Depot Network consists of a strategically located depot network across the UK, spanning from Aberdeen to Plymouth. Enabling rapid response to customer requirements and providing round-the-clock coverage, 365 days a year. This extensive footprint allows Lanes to combine local responsiveness with national capability, ensuring consistent service standards while maintaining close relationships with regional customers and infrastructure partners Purpose of the Role: To design, develop, and deliver drainage and wastewater infrastructure solutions, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with engineering standards, environmental regulations, and client requirements while supporting the maintenance and improvement of critical drainage networks. Your schedule will vary to include all types of clients and worksites, from commercial and residential to industrial, rail, road and utility, right across the region. About the Role: Salary: Starting £14.50 per hour depending on experience Location: Glasgow Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday 21 Days holiday plus Bank Holidays Key Responsibilities: Design and develop drainage, sewerage, and wastewater infrastructure solutions. Carry out site investigations, surveys, and feasibility studies. Produce technical drawings, specifications, and engineering documentation using CAD software. Manage projects from planning through to construction and completion. Liaise with clients, local authorities, contractors, and operational teams. Ensure compliance with health & safety, environmental, and industry regulations. Support asset maintenance, drainage improvements, flood prevention, and wastewater network performance Key Requirements: Skills & Experience Full Driving Licence (required) with no more than 6 penalty points Desirable: NRSWA Streetworks Experience within the drainage industry.
