All about the role:  We are seeking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic After School Club Leader to organise the day-to-day running of the After School Club. You will be responsible for providing care and supervision of children attending the club and the initiation of high quality play activities for children aged 4 to 11, in a safe and secure environment. Ideally you will have had some experience of working in a school or similar setting. We are looking for someone who will: • Lead in all aspects of the running of the club • Prepare and provide refreshments to children attending the club • Ensure that the health and safety needs of each individual child are met at all times • Is patient and understanding when working with children • Be self motivated, energetic, enthusiastic, and reliable  • Administer basic first aid, training will be provided • Has a positive and flexible attitude • Has Food handling experience and/or a Food handling certificate (or willingness to complete one)   Kington St Michael CE Primary School can offer: * a unique and exciting challenge  * an innovative and forward thinking school * a warm, welcoming and nurturing culture * a school with an excellent reputation for supporting all pupils * a caring, experienced, hard working team of staff in a happy working environment * enthusiastic and caring children Hours of work: 14 hours per week.
